The Foamposite One is a shoe that looks as futuristic in 2019 as it did when it debuted in 1997. Eric Avar happened to have an early sample in his bag when he was showing possible designs to Penny Hardaway, who fell in love with the unorthodox molded foam silhouette with the Zoom Air cushioning and very minimal Swoosh branding. Its one piece upper was inspired by sunglass cases, and originally outsourced to Daewoo for production. Since then, it has become a staple sneaker for heads everywhere. This Sail/Black-Habanero Red-Black colorway's standout feature is a faux-snakeskin textured upper, with red accents on the tongue, Swoosh, pulltab, and outsole, reminiscent of the G.I. Joe ninja commando known as Snake Eyes.
